Dr. DuWanda S. Epps Promise Academy (DSEPA) School of S.T.E.A M for grades K-2 projected 2024 in Eastern North Carolina. Our goal is to provide our students with a safe innovative learning environment, the necessary linguistic and academic skills to increase their success in this vast world of endless opportunities.
DSEPA envisions cultivating an impressionable foundation of young scholars through Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. With creative learning, diversity and holistic approach to address educational and supportive needed that effectively meets the needs of our students and families of today.

DSEPA Early Development (ages 4-5), S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineer, Art & Mathematic) learning and Creative Curriculum, a scientific based curriculum which is designed to stimulate the social, emotional, intellectual and motor skills of each child. Embracing play as a foundation of young children’s learning and development, our classrooms will be innovative, colorful and creative.
DSEPA Preschool classroom- Teachers create a learning environment that is open and accessible. Teachers engage children in real conversations about their experiences, thoughts, and feelings. Preschool children are introduced to writing, letter and number recognition, and mathematical concepts.
